AVX Corporation has recently released its new spring contact interconnect solutions catalog that highlights its extensive line of compression style connectors and also includes the recently launched low pin count discrete wire to board series. The catalog showcases AVX’s broad range of connectors featuring standard, reduced size and ultra-low profile connectors that are ideal for industrial, medical and portable electronic applications.

AVX’s new connector catalog allows customers to efficiently and easily locate a connector product specifically designed for an application, such as PDAs, scanners, and other handheld devices. For example, connectors are offered in a variety of contact heights for different mechanical designs, which allows customers to select a connector that suits their application.

The MOBO spring contact interconnect solutions catalog also features technical specifications on SIM card and SIM block connectors, one-piece board stacking connectors that are available in 16- 28 ways in 2mm – 3mm stack height, and 8, 15, 16, and 19 way I/O connectors that utilize spring contact technology. AVX’s standard battery connectors are available in 3, 4, and 5 contact positions with over 5000 mechanical cycles.
